These features are available today in a trial mode, accessible by enabling the “Experimental AI” option in the settings. The standout addition is Chrome's new Tab Organizer function. By right-clicking a Chrome tab and choosing “organize similar tabs,” the browser will strive to group related tabs together. Whether you're shopping, exploring a niche topic, or opening several news tabs at once, Chrome will endeavor to organize them into a cohesive group. Chrome's tab groups, generally underappreciated, are a useful organizational tool, though they require manual setup. This new feature simplifies the process by automating it.

The Chrome theme store is also receiving an AI-enhanced makeover. Users can select an image, style, color, and other parameters, and Chrome will generate a matching browser theme. This feature utilizes the same text-to-image model behind Android's generative wallpapers, which are known for their unique and mostly appealing designs.

The third AI feature, slated for release next month, offers a glimpse into Chrome's future capabilities. Google is integrating its “Help Me Write” feature across all websites. Users can right-click any text box, and activate the feature, and Google’s AI will assist in drafting text based on user input. This tool could be used for composing emails, writing reviews, or responding to invitations.
